Cháshi

The Meaning of Cháshi

“Chá Shi” in Chinese means more than just tea; it’s a moment(茶时), an event(茶事), a place(茶室), shared food(茶食), a poem(茶诗). Our first tea house Chá Shi (茶侍) embodies this spirit, focusing on kindness and dedicated service, and the quiet strength of samurai spirit.

About

At Cháshi, we celebrate the six types of tea—white, green, oolong, black, yellow, and dark (Pu-erh)—sourced from 15 countries.

Whether you’re into loose leaf teas, fruit infusions, or unique blends, we have something for you, carefully selected for quality.

We also host workshops to explore tea’s rich traditions, from proper brewing techniques to tea pairing events.
For example, did you know that water temperature and steeping time are crucial? Green tea should be brewed at 70-80°C, while black tea requires 90-95°C.

We also have tea pairing events where you can enjoy how tea complements food in surprising ways. Plus, we welcome artists from different fields, turning Cháshi into a space for creativity and inspiration.

Cháshi is more than a tea house—it’s a space for learning, connecting, and creativity.

We’re excited to introduce our signature matcha brand and soon, our exclusive Cháshi tea collection online. Plus, keep an eye out for surprise merchandise coming soon!

Cháshi, let’s craft another tea story.
